Tom's 1 Minute Pro Tips - Should I Take a Rest Day?
When it comes to exercise the vast majority of people do one of two things: Too little, or too much. Too little often means being inconsistent and exercising sporadically. People who do too much are extremely motivated, generally for a short amount of time, doing more than they can handle both physiologically as well as psychologically.
Neither approach works. Do too little and you will see little if any results. Do too much and you will eventually experience burnout, injury, or both.
The good news is that the answer is to start slowly, be consistent, and yes, take rest days. At least one day off per week. Why are rest days important? Watch this quick video and find out!
